My name is Michael King. I am 28 years old. I grew up in a small town and a big family. I like writing and running and getting to the heart of things. I’m a firm believer that life is an adventure, that people and their stories are significant, and that there is true power in Chinese food. This blog is devoted to telling a piece of my story.
As of today, I am in my third year as a Residence Hall Director at Ball State University. This means I have the remarkable opportunity to work alongside incredible students as they discover their talents, voices, and stories. This also means I occasionally lack the wherewithal to get a good night’s sleep and a sufficient amount of “me-time.” I would have it no other way; I consider myself unbelievably fortunate for the opportunities I’ve been granted.
This blog is called “With Bravado” because I think that’s a great way to follow most verbs. We should live, write, love, and share our stories with bravado. We should run marathons and move hearts and empower one another and combat negativity with positivity. It’s not so much a summary as a reminder.
